Marking the end of the Season of Creation 2020

The Season of Creation is a month long appreciation of the gifts of creation, instigated by Pope Francis in 2015 in his encyclical, Laudato Si’ (Praise be to You) In doing so, Pope Francis established 1st of September as an annual World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, marking the beginning of the Season of Creation.
The Season of Creation, is marked throughout the Christian world from 1st of September to 4th of October and celebrates the joy of creation as well as encouraging awareness-raising initiatives to protect the natural environment.
You are invited to Join us here in Tearmann on the last weekend of this years Season of Creation. October 2nd to October 4th, which happens to encapsulate the Feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, which falls on the 4th.
During this weekend we will reflect on our Retreat programme known as the Twelve Principles of Creation and Spirituality. and in doing so you will be guided on reflective walks through the Hills and Valleys of one of the worlds most beautiful natural creations, that has been christened, Glendalough.
Accommodation, and Lecture space is limited and will be booked on a first come first served basis. We will limit the outdoor group to a maximum of 30.
